Amata and FPT Sign Strategic MOU, Witnessed by the Thai Prime Minister

The MOU focuses on smart industrial estate solutions, digital transformation, and workforce development across ASEAN 

Hanoi - Amata Corporation Public Company Limited and Amata VN Public Company Limited (collectively “Amata”) signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with global technology corporation FPT to explore collaboration on smart industrial development and digital ecosystems. This initiative reinforces Amata’s commitment to sustainable, future-ready industrial growth in Thailand, Vietnam, and across the ASEAN region.

The signing ceremony, held at the Fairmont Hanoi Hotel, took place on the occasion of the official visit of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul to Vietnam on 8–9 June 2026. As the Prime Minister’s first official visit to Vietnam since assuming office, the visit reflects the close Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Thailand and Vietnam and forms part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The signing highlights a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral economic cooperation through innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable industrial development. Witnessed by Mrs. Somhatai Panichewa, Chief Executive Officer, Amata VN Public Company Limited, and Dr Truong Gia Binh, FPT Corporation Founder and Chairman, representing the signatories were Mr. Levi Nguyen, representing the signatories were Mr. Nguyễn Phước Linh, Chief Executive Officer of FPT Thailand and FPT Taiwan, FPT Corporation, and Mr. Osamu Sudo, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Amata VN Public Company Limited.

Thailand's Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, begins his official visit to Vietnam by engaging with Thai entrepreneurs to discuss investment conditions, business opportunities, and challenges facing Thai businesses.

Additionally, Mrs. Somhatai Panichewa and Mr. Osamu Sudo joined leading Thai corporations in a private meeting with the Thai Prime Minister. This engagement further highlights Amata’s role as a bridge in strengthening bilateral economic ties.

Strategic MOU for Smart Solutions and Digital Ecosystems

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) establishes a framework for Amata and FPT to drive innovation across Amata’s estates in Thailand, Vietnam, and Laos.

The partnership focuses on integrating advanced digital platforms, industrial IoT solutions for smart manufacturing, real-time energy and resource management, and the creation of digital hubs that connect tenants to regional and global value chains.

Collaboration will focus on five strategic pillars:

  • Smart Industrial Development: Leveraging IoT and digital tools for efficient and sustainable facility management.
  • Digital Hub Creation: Establishing centers for data analytics, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity to attract technology-driven tenants.
  • Manufacturing Transformation: Promoting smart manufacturing through AI, automation, and robotics to boost competitiveness.
  • ESG and Sustainability: Using digital platforms for environmental monitoring, energy efficiency, and carbon reduction.
  • Workforce Advancement: Collaborating with educational institutions and utilizing FPT’s platforms to upskill workers for Industry 4.0.

These priorities are designed to enhance industrial competitiveness, accelerate innovation among tenants, and foster low-carbon, future-ready communities that support Amata’s growth plans.
