Posted on | Business News

Amata Facility Services, together with the Expert Centre of Innovative Clean Energy and Environment and the Research and Development Group for Sustainable Development of the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), organized a workshop seminar titled “Carbon Footprint Journey: From Fundamentals to Practical Application in Organizations” at the Model Conference Room, Amata Service Center.

The seminar featured expert speakers Dr. Chiraphat Kumpidet and Dr. Angkana Khueanphet, who covered a wide range of topics, from the fundamentals of carbon footprinting and preparation of verification sheets to hands-on workshops using real data and practical approaches for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

This seminar is part of the broader efforts of the Amata Carbon Neutral Network (ACNN), a greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction network established within Amata’s industrial estates. Led by Amata Facility Services Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Amata City Chonburi and Amata City Rayong Industrial Estate Offices, ACNN serves as a collaborative platform to raise awareness, build understanding, and foster cooperation among businesses to implement concrete GHG reduction initiatives. The network actively supports its members by organizing expert-led seminars, workshops, and training programs on topics such as renewable and alternative energy, carbon credits, product carbon footprint (CFP), and corporate carbon footprint (CFO).

The initiative reflects Amata’s commitment to achieving Carbon Neutrality and ultimately Net Zero emissions.
