Mr. Aukkares Choochuay, Managing Director of Amata Facility Services Co., Ltd. (AFS), presided over the opening ceremony of the “Amata 100% Helmet Safety Riding Project” held at Suankularb Wittayalai Chonburi School, located within the Amata City Industrial Estate, Rayong. This initiative is part of a broader road safety campaign aimed at promoting safe driving behavior across the industrial estate.

The project seeks to reduce injuries and fatalities caused by road accidents, with a particular focus on preventing head injuries—one of the leading causes of traffic-related deaths. During the event, 600 helmets were distributed to key stakeholders, including business operators, community leaders, contractors, Amata employees, and especially students, to instill safety awareness from an early age.

In the coming weeks and months, AFS, in collaboration with the community engagement team, entrepreneurs, and the public sector, will roll out a series of activities to promote motorcycle safety. These will include:

  • On-site safety programs within factories
  • Signboard campaign inside the industrial park
  • AI-powered monitoring systems to detect motorcycle riders not wearing helmets etc.

As part of the event, the AFS leadership team also hosted an engaging seminar titled “Join Hands for Safe Driving: 100% Helmet Use”, aimed at fostering a culture of road safety and encouraging responsible driving behavior among participants, including students of Suankularb Wittayalai School.
