A factory building in Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate has been converted to a community isolation center for COVID-19 patients in the area. The project is a partnership between Frasers Property Industrial (Thailand) Co. Ltd. (FPIT), led by CEO Mr. Sopon Racharaksa, and Amata Corporation PCL, led by Director and Chief Marketing Officer Mr. Viboon Kromadit.
The center, which can accommodate up to 237 patients and provides around-the-clock nursing care, opened at the end of September to COVID-19 patients who are either asymptomatic or who show only mild symptoms.
Amata Facility Services Co. Ltd. (AFS) was responsible for setting up the center, in cooperation with several Amata divisions and subsidiaries and with the assistance of several partners. AFS Managing Director Mr. Aukkares Choochouy said at the opening “our heartfelt thanks to everyone who was involved to make this possible, in particular Frasers Property Industrial, Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, Vibharam Hospital Amata, Chonburi Provincial Public Health Office, Don Hua Lo Subdistrict office, Banpu Next, AIS, Sodexo, Worldex, TTK, Daikin, SCGP and Nakano, and many more.”
