Autoliv’s first factory in Vietnam is officially open in Amata City Ha Long Industrial Park, marking a major milestone for global roadsafety innovation and local economic growth.
On December 3, Autoliv, a global leader in automotive safety systems, officially inaugurated its new USD 154 million factory to produce airbag cushions, create nearly 2,000 new jobs, and boost export capacity. Autoliv is also committed to carbon neutrality by 2030 and renewable energy-powered operations, reinforcing its hashtagleadership in innovation and sustainability.
The ceremony welcomed distinguished guests, including representatives from the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Vũ Văn Diện, Permanent Vice Chairman; the Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E. Mr. Johan Ndisi; and Amata City Ha Long's executive Dept. General Director Mr. Omika Takeshi.
