H.E. Mr. Malaithong Kommasith, Minister of Industry and Commerce of Lao People’s Democratic Republic and delegates were warmly welcomed by Mr. Vikrom Kromadit, Chairman and Acting Chief Executive Officer AMATA Corporation Public Company and AMATA executives to 'Baan AMATA' in Bangkok on the delegations’ first day of an official visit to Thailand during March 8 to March 12 to study and discuss industrial policy, trade and investment in Thailand.

On that day, Dr. Bouvanh Vilavong, Acting Director General of the MOIC Administrative Office and Mr. Varong Tangpraprutgul, Managing Director AMATA City Lao Company Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in form of a cooperation agreement to support the development of industrial cities in Laos, in particular AMATA Smart and Eco Cities in Luang Namtha and Oudomxay provinces. The Minister, Mr. Arsa Sarasin, Mr. Vikrom Kromadit and executives from the delegation and AMATA Group witnessed the signing of the MOU, which took place at AMATA Castle.
