Kathin, a significant Buddhist festival, is customarily held at the conclusion of the three-month Buddhist Lent, known as Vassa. The festival involves devotees offering new robes and essentials to monks, symbolizing the end of the rainy season and the monks' retreat. During Kathin, communities unite in generosity, actively engaging in traditional practices, fostering community involvement, and partaking in the spiritual celebrations integral to Buddhism.
