AMATA City Ha Long Receives Top Leaders from Central Government of Vietnam and Quang Ninh Province

On behalf of AMATA VN Public Company and AMATA City Ha Long, Mrs. Somhatai Panichewa, Chief Executive Officer, had the great honor to welcome H.E. Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Deputy Prime Minister and Mr. Cao Huy, Deputy Chief of Government Office, and leaders from the Ministry of Planning & Investment, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Industry and Trade, on the occasion of their visit to AMATA City Ha Long industrial park.

The high-ranking guests were accompanied by Quang Ninh province Secretary of the Provincial Party, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky and Acting Committee Chairman Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, alongside leaders of several provincial departments.

The objective of the visit was to directly listen to enterprises and hear about difficulties and challenges, to find solutions to what governments can do to provide support for businesses.

Mrs. Somhatai Panichewa and Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan, General Director of AMATA City Ha Long industrial park presented the project and current development status and gave an overview on occupancy and potential investors. AMATA City Ha Long is the provinces’ flagship industrial park located in an economic zone; it has recruited FDI capital of more than USD 1.3 billion so far from international investors.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky assured the province’s support to speed up land compensation and acknowledged the suggestions of AMATA to discuss policies further with different ministries and departments.

After the meeting at the industrial park’s site office, the delegation made a quick tour inside Jinko Solar factory, AMATA City Ha Long’s first customers on an area of 58 hectares.
