Amata City Bien Hoa participated in “Meeting Japan 2020,” co-organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event officially opened on November 25 and was intended to integrate Vietnamese Government and business efforts to provide a platform for networking with Japanese agencies and businesses.
Japan is Vietnam’s leading economic partner, largest official development assistance (ODA) donor, second biggest investor, third largest tourism partner and fourth largest trading partner. Both countries are working to connect their economies in a sustainable manner, while focusing on bolstering trade, investment, production capacity, and human resources based on the principle of mutual benefit.
Investor confidence among Japanese companies remains strong. A recent survey found that more than 64 percent of Japanese companies intend to expand their investment in Vietnam.
