High-precision Manufacturer Eyes New Investment in Quang Ninh

Leaders of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, represented by Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Acting Chairman, presided over a meeting with executives of AMATA City Ha Long, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan, General Director and executives of Tamagawa Seiki Company Limited, led by Mr. Yasuo Hagimoto, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer, to discuss a new investment project for Quang Ninh province.

Tamagawa Seiki Company, one of the few makers in the world capable to develop and manufacture both two-dimensional and three-dimensional sensors and high-precision parts such as motors and gyros used in a variety of industries from Japan, intends to commence the US35 million investment within 2023. At the meeting, Mr. Yasuo Hagimoto expressed his gratitude towards Quang Ninh province and expressed his hope to receive support in order to speed up investment procedures.

Welcoming Tamagawa Seiki Company for its interest to invest in Quang Ninh province, Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Acting Chairman, affirmed that the province will create most favorable conditions and will focus on solving difficulties and obstacles for investors to accelerate progress on the project. The provinces' administration will ask relevant departments and units to focus on completing documents for the issuance of the project's investment certificate within June, whilst Tamagawa and AMATA shall cooperate and work on design and planning, environmental impact reports etc. in accordance with the regulations by September this year. Construction is expected to begin in October, 2 months ahead of schedule.
