AMATA City Ha Long, also referred to as Song Khoai Industrial Park, in Vietnam's Northern Key Economic Region, has been a top recipient of foreign direct investment. In less than two weeks, AMATA's diamond attracted new investors from Taiwan and Japan, such as Foxconn, Castem or Tamagawa (see business news).
On the afternoon of July 6, 2023, Mr. Motoaki Nakagami, General Director of Parts Seiko Company Vietnam, the local entity of Parts Seiko Company from Japan, received a certificate from Mr. Chau Thanh Hung, Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Economic Zone Authority (QEZA), for Parts Seiko's new investment in Quang Ninh province.

The factory will be built on one hectare of land at AMATA's industrial park with an investment capital of USD10 million. The company expects to start production in quarter three of 2024, mainly targeting to export metal parts such as shaft holders, collars, washers, struct clamps etc. to key markets in Asia.
Parts Seiko Group owns more than 800 machine tools altogether, offering its customers cutting parts with integrated production technologies such as surface treatment, assembly, molding, die casting etc. Products are used in various equipment such as medical, food, automation, semiconductor, optical or precision.
