Memorandum of Understanding between Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee and Amata VN

     May 16, 2025 – Under the witness of H.E Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and H.E Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee (PC) and Amata VN Public Company Limited (Amata) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), to establish a long-term and sustainable strategic cooperation relationship. This significant event affirms the commitment of both sides to promote investment, accelerate industrialization and modernization, and enhance socio-economic development in Phu Tho province, based on mutual trust and benefit. 

     This landmark agreement signifies a mutual commitment to fostering a favorable investment environment in Phu Tho. Under the terms of the MOU, Phu Tho province pledges to provide maximum support to Amata, facilitating information gathering, streamlining administrative procedures, assisting with land clearance and resettlement, and promptly resolving any difficulties encountered during project implementation and operation. Phu Tho PC will also closely coordinate with Amata in promoting and attracting secondary investment projects.

     Amata VN Public Company Limited, leveraging its extensive experience, international reputation, and network, commits to supporting Phu Tho province in enhancing its investment competitiveness to attract capable investors from Thailand and around the world. Amata plans to study and potentially invest in key projects within the province, including industrial parks, urban areas – smart cities, logistics services, commerce, high-quality human resource development centers, and environmental protection initiatives.

     The collaboration aims to transform planned project areas into dynamic, internationally-scaled industrial parks, urban areas, and commercial service zones. These developments will prioritize balancing economic and social progress with environmental sustainability, thereby enhancing the province's attractiveness to investors, residents, and tourists and contributing effectively to Phu Tho's overall development.

     A MOU was signed in Phu Tho province by Mr. Bui Van Quang, Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee, and Mrs. Somhatai Panichewa, Chief Executive Officer of Amata VN Public Company Limited. On May 16, 2025, the official MOU was presented at the Government Office under the witness of the Prime Ministers of both countries, with Mr. Nguyen Manh Son, Vice Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee, representing the province.

     The MOU officially takes effect from the date of signing. Both parties have committed to developing concrete implementation plans and continuously exploring new areas for cooperation based on mutual potential and strengths.
