In celebration of the auspicious occasion of the birthday of His Majesty the King on July 28, Amata Corporation PCL organized tree-planting activities at sites in Rayong and Chonburi provinces.
On July 24, more than 300 management and staff of manufacturing companies located at Amata City Rayong Industrial Estates participated in a tree planting event, and also helped construct a stone dike to create more natural space and to encourage biodiversity.
As a tribute to His Majesty The King, on July 22 over 400 factory executives and staff from Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate participated in a “Planting a Forest” project. This was in support of a Royal initiative under the Department of Forestry to plant 100 million trees in 2020, entitled “Thai Hearts Come Together to Plant Trees for the Land”. The event was presided over by Amata Corporation Director and Chief Marketing Officer Viboon Kromadit and Director of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) office at Amata City Chonburi Buppha Kawinwasin, who both assisted in the planting of 1,200 trees.
