Win, lose, and forgive.

296 teams from 72 schools, over 2,000 athletes, joined this year's Junior Leagues, which is usually organized during Thailand's winter months in December to February in Chonburi and Rayong, inviting schools from our neighborhoods to participate. It's great to see that there are more schools joining us every year.

The 11th AMATA City Chonburi Junior League and the 12th AMATA City Rayong Junior League came to an end with closing ceremonies held on January 26, 2023, and February 23, 2023, respectively, both presided by Mr. Viboon Kromadit, Director and Chief Marketing Officer, AMATA Corporation Public Company.

Why do we love sport? These junior leagues are organized by Amata to contribute to society, giving youth in the surrounding communities of AMATA's industrial estate a chance to play sport. Youth sports can have many different positive effects. Encouraging children to participate in youth sports is a fantastic way for children to explore and develop lifelong skills. Sport not only plays an important role in exercise, but promotes mental health, and helps to build a positive self-image, learning responsibility, discipline, teamwork and cope with success and failure.

This year, schools around Amata Cities in Chonburi and Rayong have been invited to participate in 4 sports competitions: Men's football, women's volleyball, Sepak Takraw (a traditional game with a woven ball), double male and female pétanque.

The competition is divided into two levels: Students from upper elementary (9-12 years) and junior high school/ middle school grades 1 to 3 (12-15 years).
