The government launched an official COVID-19 vaccination program in Chonburi province, for the benefit of Amata City Chonburi industrial estate’s factories and their workforce at Amata Castle. The effort is a cooperation between Amata, the Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Labour's Social Security Office, Federation of Thai Industries and the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT).

On its first day of operation, the vaccination center was visited by Minister of Labour Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Chonburi Provincial Governor Mr. Phakthorn Thianchai and IEAT Governor Mr. Veeris Ammarapala, where they were welcomed by Amata Corporation’s Director and Chief Marketing Officer Mr. Viboon Kromadit and Amata City Chonburi IEAT Branch Director Mrs. Buppha Kawinvasin.

All factory employees who are insured through the government's Social Security office under Section 33 are eligible for vaccination. Several thousand doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been secured by the Amata City Chonburi vaccination center, and health care personnel plan to vaccinate approximately 1,200 – 1,500 employees per day as long as supplies last.
