Amata Corporation PCL, in collaboration with the Thailand Board of Investment of Thailand’s Thai Enterprise Development Division (BUILD), hosted a dynamic marketplace event at Hotel Nikko Amata City Chonburi, uniting buyers and vendors from diverse industries for a powerful exchange of opportunities.

Designed to spark business growth for multinational corporations and local SMEs from around the world, the event focused on expanding the EV supply chain and advancing the Electronics & Electrical sector. Ten global industry leaders participated as buyers, actively seeking partnerships within these key markets.

Prominent automotive supply chain participant included Autoliv (Thailand), and agricultural machinery leader Siam Kubota Corporation. Prominent buyers in the electronics and electrical appliances sector featured General Air Conditioning Manufacturing (Thailand), HHA (Thailand), Multi-Fineline Electronics (Thailand), Tatung (Thailand), Techman Electronics (Thailand), and WTT Electronics, Light Squared Lighting all eager to forge new connections.

Strategically hosted at Hotel Nikko Amata City Chonburi, the event drew robust attendance, with over 200 companies selected for business negotiations. Participants included international firms from Amata’s industrial estates and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), all vying to integrate into the local supply chain for global manufacturers. This initiative not only boosted domestic demand and supplier capabilities, but also fostered cross-cultural supply chain development, opening doors for parts suppliers in both the electronics and automotive sectors.

Driving innovation and growth in the EV and electronics & electrical appliances industries requires more than just investment promotion by BOI—it demands a strong network connecting Thai and global manufacturers, creating essential supply chain opportunities. During the opening ceremony, Mr. Yasuo Tsutsui, CEO of Industrial Estate Thailand, emphasized, “At Amata, partnership is our foundation. We envision ‘Amata City’ as the ultimate hub where buyers and suppliers—both multinational giants and local SMEs—can connect and thrive throughout Thailand.”

The ‘Marketplace event’ under the Industrial Linkage Development Program serves as a crucial platform that connects buyers and suppliers from various industries.”

Beyond matchmaking, the Board of Investment organized a knowledge-sharing seminar and an investment clinic, offering tailored guidance and support to manufacturers seeking BOI-related expertise.
