Viboon Kromadit, Director & Chief Marketing Officer of AMATA Corporation PCL and Buppha Kawinwasin, Director of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand Amata City Chonburi Branch, presided over the certificate presentation ceremony for Best Waste Management, which took place at Amata Spring Country Club facilities.
For the year 2018, 87 companies operating at Amata City Chonburi and Amata City Rayong industrial estates were given the certificate, recognizing their efforts in efficient waste management by meeting and exceeding a set of criteria.
Among the 87 companies, 33 companies achieved Silver Level awards, 23 companies Gold Level and an outstanding number of 31 companies achieved Platinum Level recognition.
The Best Waste Management Award was initiated by Amata's subsidiary, Amata Facility Service (AFS) company to encourage customer to implement efficient waste management by adopting the 3R rule: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
