It was a great honor for Amata to receive the delegates from the Viet Nam Embassy in Thailand, led by His Excellency the Ambassador Dr. Phan Chi Thanh, on their visit to Amata City Chonburi with special interest in learning on Amata’s Smart City development. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Viboon Kromadit, Director and Chief Marketing Officer Amata Corporation Public Company and accompanied by Mrs. Somhatai Panichewa, Chief Executive Officer Amata VN Public Company. During their visit, the group visited Hitachi “Lumada Center Southeast Asia” and toured the site and paid a visit to the wastewater treatment plant developed according to circular economy management under “3 Rs”, reduce, reuse and recycle.
At Hitachi Lumada, the delegation was welcomed and briefed by Mr. Somsak Garnjanakarn, Executive Director & Chief Marketing Officer Hitachi Asia (Thailand) Company; Mr. Chuchat Saitin, Managing Director Amata Water Company lectured the guest about water and wastewater management.

Hitachi has built Lumada Center at Amata City Chonburi, along the Eastern Economic Corridor as part of its broader effort to support the national push towards Thailand 4.0. Through Lumada, Hitachi aims to help Thai factories raise their productivity by using data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI).
About Amata Water & Wastewater Management:
Amata’s water management principles are based on a circular economy system with an efficient use of natural resources, known as the 3 R's: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Every day, Amata’s wastewater treatment plants collect and treat more than 13 million cubic meters of wastewater per year. Current water reclamation facilities reclaim wastewater with a Reverse Osmosis Membrane (RO) filtration system, reducing the demand for water from fresh sources by 40 percent.
