AMATA VN Public Company Limited and Marubeni Corporation Form Strategic Partnership for AMATA City Ha Long Development

Quang Ninh, Vietnam – [12 Jun 2024] – AMATA VN Public Company Limited ("AVN") and MC Economic Estate Development Vietnam Corporation ("MRBN"), a subsidiary of Marubeni Corporation ("Marubeni"), are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership in the real estate sector of AMATA City Halong Joint Stock Company ("ACHL").

On May 31, 2024, MRBN successfully acquired a 20% ownership stake in ACHL.

Service Center in AMATA City Ha Long Industrial Park

Established in 2018, ACHL focuses on developing industrial park projects along with utilities and infrastructure within the industrial park in Quang Yen Town, Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam. ACHL has become a leading force in the region, attracting over 18 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects, totaling more than 2.6 billion USD in capital investment.

Marubeni, a prominent Japanese integrated trading and investment conglomerate with extensive experience across diverse industries including industrial park business, brings significant expertise to the partnership. Marubeni's involvement in ACHL is anticipated to advance the park's development towards sustainable practices, elevate ACHL's global profile through extensive market reach and attract a wider pool of investors, with a particular focus on Japanese enterprises.

This strategic alliance positions ACHL for continued growth and solidifies its position as a premier destination for industrial park destination in Vietnam.
