On March 17, 2025, DayOne, a global leader in data center development, officially broke ground on its Chonburi Tech Park (CTP) Data Center campus at the Amata City Chonburi industrial estate.
With a committed investment of USD 1 billion over the next few years, DayOne’s hyperscale data center park will provide scalable, high-performance infrastructure essential for the growing digital economy. The facility will span 122,000 square meters and be powered by 180MW of grid capacity, developed in two phases. Designed with sustainability and energy efficiency in mind, the campus will integrate advanced liquid cooling technology to ensure optimal performance while minimizing its environmental impact.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by senior government and industry leaders, including Ms. Jamie Khoo, CEO of DayOne; Mr. Pongpol Yodmuangcharoen, Secretary to the Minister of Industry; Mr. Teerawut Charoensuk, Deputy Governor of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT); Mr. Phonnathorn Vongprom, Director of the Regional Investment and Economic Center, Thailand Board of Investment (BOI); and Dr. Viwat Kromadit, CTO & CEO of Industrial Estate Business Thailand at AMATA.
