Jinko Solar Vietnam Launches First Product After Just Under 4 Months of Construction

At the ceremony, witnessed by representatives of provincial leaders, executives, and infrastructure investors of Amata City Ha Long, Song Khoai Industrial Park, Jinko Solar Industry Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) performed the ceremony of pressing the button to start the production of the first silicone block for Jinko Solar’s project.

Although the investment registration certificate has only been granted since the end of September 2021, it took the company a record-breaking four months only from groundbreaking to the launch of the first product.

Quang Ninh’s Economic Zone Management Board has granted the investment certificate registration (ICR) within 4 days after the full investment dossier was received, 15 days faster than by given standards. And it took only 1 day from the approval to the issue of the ICR, setting new records in the efficient issuing of this important document. 

In the meantime, Jinko Solar has done some research for housing facilities and plans to invest in housing for their technicians at Ha Long city and housing for their workers at Quang Yen town.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Bui Van Khong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized, “Quang Ninh has embarked on the journey to transform the province into a modern and dynamic center for service businesses and industry in the country’s north. At the same time, cementing resolution No. 01-NQ/TU dated November 16, 2020 of the Party Committee of Quang Ninh province to rapidly but sustainably develop the processing and manufacturing industries in the period 2020 – 2025. Therefore, Quang Ninh province hopes and believes that with the commitment and efforts of investors, such as Jinko Solar, they will positively contribute to improve the value of processing, manufacturing and GRDP production of the province in 2022 and the following years and contribute to realize the province’s economic growth target in 2022 of over 11% and at the same time promoting the socio-economic development of Quang Ninh province.”

Mr. Huang Jinxing, General Director of Jinko Solar Industry Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) explained why the company was able to construct this factory at this record speed, significantly ahead of initial schedule. He shared, “Immediately after receiving the investment registration certificate and completing the necessary legal procedures, Jinko Solar Vietnam started with the construction at Amata City Ha Long (Song Khoai) Industrial Park. Local authorities not only held meetings to solve difficulties for Jinko Vietnam, supporting goods, equipment and machinery for customs clearance, but also created favorable conditions for more than 700 experts to enter Vietnam, helping Jinko Solar Vietnam branch to remain confident and determined to achieve such an ambitious goal.”
