Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong and Deputy Governor of Chonburi Province, Mr. Niti Wiwatwanich, Inspector General Mr. Sakdinat Sonthisakyothin as well as executives of the Ministry of Labour in Chonburi Province visited Maxim Integrated Products (Thailand) Company to monitor the ‘Factory Sandbox’ program at the plant. The special scheme was implemented in eleven provinces of export and manufacturing clusters, targeting automotive, electronics, food and medical devices industries and companies that mainly export with more than 100 employees, to ensure the business continuance during the COVID-19 pandemic and to protect the export industry which is a key driver of the country’s economy.
Mr. Richard Cohen, Vice President and Special Advisor to the Senior Vice President of Global Operations and Technology, Mr. Wirat Sriamornkitkul, Managing Director of Maxim Integrated Products (Thailand) Company, executives and employees all gave a warm welcome to the visiting group.
Maxim Integrated Products (Thailand) Company Limited, the local subsidiary of US firm Maxim Integrated was established in March, 2001 and operates a wafer sorting and testing and wafer development technology plant at the Amata City Chonburi Free Zone.
