Jinko Solar Vietnam Awarded Investment Registration Certificate for Project 2

On 19th Sep, Jinko Solar Vietnam has been awarded the Investment Registration Certificate for the 2nd project, next to the first project in Amata City Ha Long. The ceremony was organized at project location (Amata City Ha Long), with the representatives of Quang Ninh People Committee and Quang Yen Town.

Jinko Solar has become the biggest secondary investor in Quang Ninh province, the first customer of Amata City Ha Long since 31st March 2021 with the 500 mil USD project of solar panel smart factory. The 2nd project is the enhance of effective collaboration with Quang Ninh province and Amata City Ha Long. Located right next to the 1st project, occupied around 20.1 ha with total investment up to 365.6 mil USD, the new project centralized in producing Silicon and Wafers. Groundbreaking is scheduled in end of Sep, with official operation to start by Aug 2022, involving more than 2,000 employees. By this approval, in total, Jinko Solar occupy approximately 52.7 hectares of land, with total investment capital up to 865.6 mil USD in Amata City Ha Long, expected for annual production capacity of USD 2.3 billion.

In the celebration, Quang Ninh People's Committee Chairman Mr. Nguyen Tuong Van highly appreciated the efforts of Jinko Solar Vietnam, Amata City Ha Long in joining hands with Quang Yen Town and related departments for project planning and application. Despite the Covid difficulties, this event proved the trust of investors in Quang Ninh investment environment, as well as the effective prevention and Covid control of the province.

Mr. Huang Xin Jing, General Director of Jinko Solar Vietnam, expressed the excitement and grateful for receiving IRC for 2nd project only after 6 months from the 1st project award ceremony. Jinko Solar committed to speed up so the first lot of products can be released right at the end of 2021, no later than January 2022.
